Activa has received Royal College of Nursing (RCN) accreditation for each of its non-product e-learning modules, covering 20 modules in total.
The accredited modules, which cover wound care, chronic oedema/lymphoedema and compression therapy are part of a free-to-access online learning zone designed to help nurses develop the skills and knowledge needed for everyday clinical practice.
The RCN is not confirming the competence of the practitioner once they have completed an RCN accredited module. Accreditation is based on educational content, and is not related to any product.
In addition, the accredited modules can form part of the mandatory 35 hours of continuing professional development, required as part of the updated Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) revalidation process.
Each module includes a test, with a certificate awarded for a 100% test score, featuring the time taken to complete the test. These certificates can be printed and retained as evidence of your continuing professional development (CPD).
To get started, simply visit the Activa e-learning zone.
