TVS Conference, Edgbaston 2017

The TVS Conference 2017 will be held in Edgbaston on 5th – 6th of April. This year’s TVS conference will focus on the latest wound research for clinical practice, NHS policy priorities for improving tissue viability care, the leg ulcer journey, seating and positioning to reduce the risk of pressure damage, challenges of skin care for bariatric patients and recognising and managing common skin conditions. The TVS conference will also be running several workshops including: how to categorise pressure damage, applying compression therapy, clinical guidelines, education and training.

Wounds UK Summer Conference — Supporting Practice

Wounds UK Summer Conference will run from 5th - 6th July in Birmingham. The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) has introduced revalidation for nurses designed to strengthen the three-yearly registration renewal process and increase professionalism. In order to revalidate, nurses must complete 35 hours of continuing professional development (CPD), and at least 20 hours of participatory learning activity (such as conference). In response Wounds UK are pleased to hold a new two-day event which will support practice and revalidation, and embrace multi-disciplinary care.

Wounds UK Annual Conference 2017

The Wounds UK Annual Conference will be held on 13-15 November 2017 at the Harrogate International Centre.
